The method involves arranging several battery modules (30) of a battery strand (20) in series. First and second battery modules arranged in series are decoupled by control of the battery strand. The first battery module is actuated by specific clock frequency of a DC/DC transducer while second battery module is actuated by clock frequency smaller than specific clock frequency. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a control device for the battery system; (2) the battery system; and (3) a vehicle.
