Power supply device controlling method for e.g. hybrid vehicle, involves adjusting auxiliary current or mean value of auxiliary current based on main current flowing through main strand or mean value of main current and/or battery current
The method involves arranging an auxiliary strand (200) parallel to a main strand (100). A voltage conversion element (214) and auxiliary battery cells (243, 253) are arranged in the auxiliary strand. Auxiliary current or mean value of the auxiliary current is adjusted by a control unit of the voltage conversion element based on the main current flowing through the main strand or the mean value of the main current and/or determined battery current and/or a charging condition of the auxiliary battery cells and/or a charging condition of a battery cell (101) of the main strand. An independent claim is also included for a device for power supply comprising a battery cell.
