The actuator device (1) has a movable gear selector switch (10) that is provided in with monostable and/or bistable switching positions. Haptics for the adjustable movement of the gear selector switch are produced through a rheological actuator (30) with a rheological fluid (34). A sensor (20) is provided to detect a deflection of the gear selector switch. A rotational axis (12) of the gear selector switch is arranged corresponding to a rotational axis (33) of the rheological actuator.
