The element (100) has a rod-shaped core arranged in a circuitry carrier (105), and wires provided around the core. A part of the wires is designed as bonding wires (120.a-120.e) and/or a printed circuit board (PCB) is printed on the core. The core is formed as a bar (110) or as ring, where a width of the core is larger than a height of the core that is made of a ferrite material. Another part of the coil is formed as imprinted strip conductors (130.a-130.e) in a strip conductor layer of the circuitry carrier, and the wires are series or parallel switched. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a throttle element.
