Method for determining frictional relationship between road surface and wheel of motor car, involves determining adhesion frictional relationship between wheel and road surface based on predetermined allocation function
The method involves determining (a) whether a positive or negative acceleration of wheel is present. The determination (b) is made whether the wheel is in driving state or braking state based on the determination of positive or negative acceleration of wheel. The frictional relationship between the wheel and the road surface is determined (c). The adhesion-identification parameter for wheel is determined (d). The adhesion frictional relationship between the wheel and road surface is determined (e) based on predetermined allocation function for adhesion identification parameters. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) device for determining frictional relationship between road surface and wheel of motor car; and (2) motor car.
