The device (1) has a damping body (4) arranged between two connectors (2, 3) and comprising an elastic material. The damping body comprises a damping chamber (7) that is filled with damping medium. The damping chamber comprises multiple cells that extend in a longitudinal direction or a transverse direction of the damping body. The cells comprise a honeycomb-shaped, round or angular cross-section and are formed in a blister or bubble shape. One of the connectors comprises positioning elements to prevent displacement of the connector relative to the other connector in the transverse direction. The damping medium is formed as a gaseous medium, a liquid medium e.g. water and oil, or a gel-like medium.
