The system (1) has clampable friction linings (15, 16) arranged between a back pressure plate (11) and pressing plates (13, 14). An operation stroke between a reference stop (29) and an operating point up to the friction linings is fixed to a predetermined wear limit. A partial path of an actuating path is formed between the operating point and another operating point in a specified condition of the friction linings. One or more force limiting elasticity parts (30-35) are provided between clutch actuators (5, 24) i.e. lever actuator, and the pressing plates.
