The actuating system (24) has a lever element (16) that is operated in an actuating position for displacing a pressing plate (20) to press a clutch disk between the pressing plate and a counter plate. A cup spring element (18) provides a return force acted at the lever element, for displacing the lever element from the actuating position. A limiting stop (22) is stopped at the lever element, for limiting an adjusting path of the lever element from the actuating position under the influence of centrifugal force. An independent claim is included for friction clutch.
