Gripping device for a bolt-shaped connecting element with a shaft and a circumferential collar, in particular for a blind rivet, which a rivet sleeve having a set head and a sleeve shank has, as well as a rivet shaft, wherein the gripping device in particular for the automatic feeding of the blind rivet to a setting tool is preferably in the form of a part of an automated building installation (robot) and a gripping arm is designed for grasping of the blind rivet, characterized in that the gripping arm for gripping of the blind rivet is formed in the region of the preformed set head.
