The aircraft (10) has a floor structure (26) connected to a fuselage structure (20). A support rod (42) is arranged on a lower compartment of the aircraft for supporting the floor structure, where the support rod extends along vertical direction to form an angle less than 45 degree. A movable system (12) e.g. movable avionic, electrical core and in-flight entertainment (IFE) bay, comprises connecting units (16, 22), where the connecting units include the support rod. The support rod is provided with adjusting units for adjusting spacing between ends (44) of the rod. An independent claim is also included for a method for installing a movable system in a lower compartment of an aircraft.
