The holder assembly includes a clamping unit (8) which has a wedge face extending at an angle to the longitudinal direction of a support component (3) and installed on it on the opposite side to a locating element (4). The clamping unit also has a clamping ring (11) encompassing the support component and movable upon it. On one side the clamping ring in its in-use position fits around the rod element (2) fitted between the clamping ring and locating element, and on the other side fits around the wedge face so that the rod element through displacement of the clamping ring is clamped tight along the wedge face.
