The holder (1) has a supply unit for supplying coolant and lubricant i.e. mineral oil, to a tool and/or a workpiece using pipe-like supply elements (10, 14) i.e. precision steel pipes. The supply elements are detachably attached to the holder using a clamping unit in a deterioration-free manner. The supply elements are adjustable in a longitudinal direction and connected with a coolant source and a lubricant source. The clamping unit has clamping elements including tapered surfaces i.e. frustum lateral surfaces, provided on a tapered sealing element that is made of plastic.
