The pillow i.e. travel pillow (10), has a connecting unit provided for blowing up a cavity, and formed as a manually operable pump such as bellows or rubber ball. The connecting unit is attached to the pillow by an air pipe (14), which is not detachably connected with the pillow. The pillow is formed in a reversed U-shaped manner, and the air pipe is attached to a lower edge (16) of a U-shaped limb (12). A pressure measuring device is attached to the pillow, the air pipe or a pump (15).
