The device (4) has first and second resistors (41, 42) connected in series between first and second input terminals (47, 48). A current detection circuit (45) is connected between an electric ground (93) and an intermediate point (49) between the resistors. A first switch (43) is connected in series with the first resistor between the first terminal and the point. A second switch (44) is connected in series with the second resistor between the second terminal and the point. A control circuit (8) simultaneously maintains one of the switches in open state and the other switch in closed state. The switches are MOSFETs, and the control circuit is formed by a battery operation supervision controller. An independent claim is also included for a motorization system.
