The seat has a frame (2) fixed at a vehicle, a back part (3) movably fixed at the frame and a base part (4) fixed at the back part by a pivot mechanism (5). The pivot mechanism is swiveled between an unfolded position and a folded position, and maintained in the folded position by maintaining elements (51, 52). The back part is movable between a low position and a high position according to kinematics of the back part. A locking unit (53) is actuated by the kinematics of the back part to lock the maintaining elements when the back part is moved in the high position. The base part includes a foot fixed at the base and a bent element fixed at a lower part of the back part and at the foot.
