The case has an LED chip (20) placed on a base (10) and electrically connected to the base. The chip is enclosed by an enclosure (30) on the base. A filling material is poured in the enclosure and solidified to form a filling lens (40) such that the chip is encapsulated in the lens. The enclosure is made of optically transparent silicone. A side of the enclosure comprises a curved surface for guiding light deposited on the curved surface. The curved surface includes a coated underlayer to reflect the light emitted by the chip.
