AIRCRAFT COCKPIT, AND IN PARTICULAR PART BEFORE AN AIRCRAFT COCKPIT

The present invention proposes a new design of the front part of an aircraft cockpit. It is proposed a display device comprising a screen pivotally mounted on a support for a height adjustment. It is also proposed to have a screen in the upper central portion of the dashboard. This central screen is mobile, between an extended position and a retracted position in which it does not interfere with the vision of the drivers through the windshield of the cockpit. An awning, at least partially made of stretched canvas or the like, is used to cover the display screens, except possibly the mobile central screen which can pass through the awning by a passage provided for this purpose. It is also proposed to have in front of the dashboard screens an avionics bay whose support is advantageously also used to support other devices (rudder control system, work shelves, etc.).
