The conduit has an internal tube (2) made of an inert material such as graphite or ceramic, and concentric with an external metal tube (1). The internal tube forms an intermediate space (3) with the external metal tube. The intermediate space is connected with an outer side of the conduit through a gas injector (4) to supply protection gas i.e. hydrogen, into the intermediate space. The external metal tube is elaborated in a slightly allied steel. An independent claim is also included for a method for conveying carbon monoxide and hydrogen mixture.
