The heat exchanger (10) has an inner tube (34,36) and an outer tube (32), which partially encloses the inner tube by forming an intermediate space (33) through which a heat exchange medium is flowed. The inner tube is designed as a multi-channel tube with multiple mutually parallel flow channels. The inner tube has a rectangular cross section with a certain width to height ratio. The flow channels are arranged side by side in a width direction of the inner tube. The flow channels of the inner tube are arranged at equal distance in a height direction from an outer side of the inner pipe.
