Dyeing keratinous fibers, comprises applying a mixture obtained from a dye composition comprising at least an oxidation dye precursor and an oxidizing composition comprising at least one chemical oxidizing agent to fibers, where the compositions are delivered from pressurized containers and the mixture of the compositions comprises at least one non ionic, non oxyalkylenated amide of optionally saturated 8-40C fatty acid and a nonionic non-associative polymeric thickener. An independent claim is included for a device for dyeing keratinous fibers comprising a first pressurized container containing the dye composition, a second pressurized container containing the oxidizing composition, and a unit to deliver the compositions.
