Dyeing keratin fiber comprises applying a mixture obtained from a dye composition comprising an oxidation dye precursor, an oxidizing composition comprising a chemical oxidizing agent and a mixture of compositions comprising 8-40C unsaturated fatty acid and 8-30C fatty alcohol that is liquid at an ambient temperature and an atmospheric pressure to keratinous fibers, where the compositions are supplied from a pressurized container. An independent claim is included for a device for dyeing keratinous fibers, comprising a first container containing the dye composition, a second container containing the oxidizing composition, and a unit for delivering the compositions, where the mixture of compositions comprises 8-40C unsaturated fatty acid and fatty alcohol that is liquid at an ambient temperature and an atmospheric pressure and the containers are pressurized containers.
