A restraint (g, h) for preventing the movement of a panel (a) when packaged in a container that is larger than the panel comprises at least one surface (i) arranged at an angle to a surface of the container on which the panel sits. The restraint is attached to the surface on which the panel sits such that the angled surface extends over the uppermost outside edge of the panel, holding the panel in place during transportation or storage via contact between the angled surface and the uppermost outside edge of the panel (j). By using a plurality of restraints movement can be restricted in all three dimensions. An optional extension to a base of the restraint (k) extends under the panel to improve adhesion to the surface. Perforations (o) may be present to assist with separating the base from the upper part of the restraint when unpacking the panel.
