NEW ANTIOXIDANT DERIVED FROM BLACK CURRANT LEAF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new compound derived from a black currant leaf, further, to provide a black currant leaf extract and an antioxidant active compound derived from a black currant leaf, and to provide a method for isolating the new compound.;SOLUTION: It has been found that, when 8 kinds of new compounds and 6 kinds of well-known compounds are isolated from the leaf part of the black currant in the Grossulariaceae nigrum plant, antioxidant activity is present in 70% methanol extracts derived from the leaf part and 7 kinds of chemical components.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
