CITY WATER STORAGE DEVICE AND CITY WATER SUPPLY METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water storage device which sanitarily stores city water for emergencies and simply takes the stored city water in emergency, and a water supply method.SOLUTION: A water storage device is comprised of: a water storage tank 2 including a water inlet pipe 3 and a water outlet pipe 4; a water distributing pipe 5 connected to the water inlet pipe 3 of the water storage tank 2 via a check valve 51; a water supply pipe 7 connected to the water outlet pipe 4 via a change-over valve 6; and an emergency water outlet pipe 8 positioned on the downstream side of the check valve 51 and with one end connected to the water distributing pipe 5 and the other end connected to the change-over valve 6. A water inlet port 3a of the water inlet pipe 3 and a water outlet port 4a of the water outlet pipe 4 are opened so as to face the vicinity of a bottom wall of the water storage tank 2, an air hole 4b is formed in the water outlet pipe 4 so as to face the vicinity of a ceiling wall, and a port for connecting an air supply 9 is formed in the change-over valve 6. In an emergency, the change-over valve 6 is changed over to a second position to connect the air supply 9 to the water outlet pipe 4 and to connect the emergency water outlet pipe 8 to the water supply pipe 7, and pressurized air of the air supply 9 is supplied to the water storage tank 2 through the air hole 4b of the water outlet pipe 4.
