PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a function calculation device capable of accurately calculating a correlation function of a stereo pair even if an image deformation between the stereo pair is large, and to provide a depth map generation device, a function calculation method and a function calculation program.;SOLUTION: A function calculation device comprises: a normalization unit for receiving a reference viewpoint image and multiple nearby viewpoint images; the normalization unit for parallelizing the reference viewpoint image and the nearby viewpoint images with respect to each stereo pair; the normalization unit for normalizing disparity of the parallelized stereo pair; a window setting unit for setting matching windows to the reference viewpoint image and the nearby viewpoint images of the stereo pair with the disparity normalized, on the basis of at least one of a line segment of an object surface and its normal vector; a function calculation unit for calculating a one-dimensional POC function between the matching windows, with respect to each stereo pair with the disparity normalized; and a function integration unit for integrating the one-dimensional POC functions which respectively have a correlation peak value equivalent to or higher than a threshold among the one-dimensional POC functions.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
