PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a blend tea beverage that uses at least cereal grain as a tea raw material and has suppressed bitter taste while it contains non-polymer catechin.;SOLUTION: The method for producing a blend tea beverage using at least cereal grain including adlay as a tea raw material and containing non-polymer catechin comprises the steps (1) and (2):(1) a step of bringing the cereal grain including adlay into contact with water for washing and discharging the washing water in an amount of not less than 0.05 mass times to not more than 4 mass times relative to the total amount of the cereal grain brought into contact with water to produce washed cereal grain; and (2) a step of bringing the tea raw material including the washed cereal grain in contact with water for extraction to obtain an extract.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
