PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preparing alumina hydrate fine particle powder which exhibits excellent dispersibility to water, the dispersion liquid of which has excellent stability, and which can be used suitably as a binding material, a raw material of catalysts or catalytic carriers, or the like.;SOLUTION: The method for preparing alumina hydrate fine particle powder comprises: a step (a) of preparing an alumina hydrate gel and cleaning the prepared gel; a step (b) of adding a buffering agent and a deflocculant to alumina hydrate fine particles so that the alumina hydrate fine particle becomes 100 parts weight in terms of Al2O3, the buffering agent becomes 5-15 parts weight, and the deflocculant becomes 5-30 parts weight and aging an obtained mixture; and a step (c) of spray-drying the aged mixture.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
