PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fine alumina hydrate particle powder, more specifically a fine alumina hydrate particle powder which is preferably usable as a filler to be filled in various types of polymer materials, and its production method.;SOLUTION: In aerating a gas containing carbon dioxide into an alkali aluminate aqueous solution heated to the temperature range of 35-90°C, the ratio of the aeration amount per minute of the gas containing carbon dioxide to 1 L of the alkali aluminate aqueous solution is adjusted to 0.05-1.0 L. The method provides an alumina hydrate particle powder which has an average particle size (D50) of primary particles of 100 nm or smaller and a product of the average particle size (D50) (nm) by the DOP oil absorption (cm3/100 g) of 6,000 or smaller and meets incompatible characteristics of being excellent in dispersibility and allowing high filling.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
