INTER-DEVICE AUTHENTICATION METHOD FOR OPERATING ONE-TIME PAD, GAME MACHINE EMPLOYING THE SAME AND GAME MACHINE NETWORK SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inter-device authentication method for operating a one-time pad, a game machine employing the same and a game machine network system.SOLUTION: A game machine which connects a plurality of intra-board instrument devices and a host via a USB comprises a main unit including a USB host and being in charge of exchange of information with devices; a sub unit which is connected with the host and controlled, and a plurality of intra-board instruments. A control section includes: authentication means for configuration in which, when configuring a connection form, a hash value generated from an ID given for each device is transferred from the device to the host and shared mutually; initialization authentication means in which a random number which is independently generated after the end of the mutual authentication, is shared between the device and the host while being authenticated by the hash value; and occasional authentication means in which new random numbers independently generated by the device and the host before data transmission are shared as a key for the next authentication and a one-time pad of data while being authenticated by a random number value being shared at present.
