PILE YARN FOR CARPET, CUT PILE CARPET, AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cut pile carpet having soft feeling, smoothness on the surface, and excellent crimp durability in addition, and excellent in texture and aesthetic property.;SOLUTION: A pile yarn is constituted by a nylon BCF having a single fiber fineness of not less than 1.5 dtex and less than 3.0 dtex. The pile yarn has a single twisted structure having a number of twist of 80-400 T/m, or a piled structure obtained by primarily twisting and secondarily twisting with the number of twisting of 80-400 T/m respectively, and has a total fiber fineness of 660-4,400 dtex. The pile yarn has a stretch elongation of 5-15% after boiling water treatment. The cut pile carpet is made by tufting onto a base fabric using the pile yarn by not less than 60% of a total number where the pile weight is 600-1,400 g/m², and the average pile height is 12-40 mm.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
