PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suction port body of a vacuum cleaner, capable of preventing deterioration of operability when an operator changes over the suction port body from a return path to a going path, and to provide the vacuum cleaner using the suction port body.;SOLUTION: A suction port body of a vacuum cleaner has: a rotary cleaning body having a rubbing member rubbing a face to be cleaned; a drive part driving the rotary cleaning body; detection means for detecting an operation direction of the suction port body; and a control part controlling the drive part such that a rotational direction of the rotary cleaning body is changed over. A peak of operation force appearing in time of the change-over of the operation direction of the suction port body is reduced compared with when an average voltage applied to the drive part is nearly constant.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
