PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a route notification device capable of searching a route with improved appropriateness in consideration of a characteristic of an own vehicle and a temporary road condition when searching the route.SOLUTION: A route notification device comprises: an interface 1 which transmits characteristic information indicating a characteristic of a vehicle to a server device SV; a CPU 2 which acquires route data, indicating a route that the vehicle travels, searched by using travel history of another vehicle having the characteristic corresponding to the same represented by the sent characteristic information; and a display 3 which displays the acquired route data.
