PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deck crane for reducing an overload region for operating at a load equal to or more than a rating limit load, a method for controlling the deck crane, and a ship.;SOLUTION: A deck crane has a pressure switch 21 disposed at a P port between a hydraulic pump 32 and a relief valve 40, and operates an electromagnetic valve 22 for switching the flowing direction of working oil to return the total amount of the working oil discharged by the hydraulic pump 32 to a tank 61, when the pressure of the working oil reaches a predetermined switching pressure.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
