PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analysis result approximate to an actual phenomenon by implementing simple analysis when analyzing residual deformation in liquefaction of a soil-structure system.SOLUTION: Residual deformation after liquefaction incurred in an earthquake in soil and a structure to be analyzed is calculated through linear dead-weight analysis using a finite element method element model. In such a case, a maximum shear strain value is set from a chart and on the basis of a ground surface horizontal displacement value Dcy, a settlement amount v of horizontal soil after liquefaction is calculated. While using an initial Poisson ratio as an input value, a settlement amount r in distant soil is calculated by linear dead-weight analysis according to the finite element method, and v and r are compared. Under a condition of (+)0.5, is reset and arithmetic operation is continued until vr. Then, residual deformation of the soil and the structure is calculated from the result.
