PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an applicator that adds conformal coating to an electrical composition.;SOLUTION: A coating system employs an applicator comprising a cylinder with a needle valve attached. A control device comprises a timer that supplies a series of electric pulses to a solenoid. By using each pulse, the solenoid applies pressurized air to a cylinder piston, thereby opening the needle valve, and this allows coating material to pass through the needle valve. The needle valve is closed over retention time between the pulses, and the coating material is released from a dispensation needle in response to closure of the needle valve.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
