PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an algae moss control agent for lawn in which the algae moss growing in the lawn can be controlled, there is not worry of chemical injury to the lawn, crop, and a horticultural plant or the like, safety is very high, and administration is easy; and a control method of the algae moss growing in the lawn.;SOLUTION: An algae moss control agent for lawn includes succinic acid or a succinic acid derivative shown by formula (1); and at least one compound chosen from those salts as an active ingredient.
