PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alga and moss controlling agent for lawns which can control algae and mosses growing on lawns, has no fear of adverse drug reactions to the lawns and very high safety, and is easy to manage and a method of controlling algae and mosses growing on lawns.;SOLUTION: The alga and moss controlling agent for lawns includes fumaric acid or a fumarate including, for example, sodium fumarate which is a compound having such high safety as is widely used as a food additive and the method of controlling algae and mosses growing on lawns comprises spraying fumaric acid or a salt thereof onto the lawns.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
