PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology that prevents the generation of cracks in the vicinity of a crown of an impermeable wall, in a dam having the impermeable wall.;SOLUTION: This crown structure of the dam has a concrete structure that is provided at the crown of a dam body and has joints arranged therein with a predetermined space, and the impermeable wall that comes into contact with the concrete structure. The crown structure further comprises: a shielding plate that is provided at a surface of the concrete structure in the vicinity of the joint and prevents distortion from transferring from the concrete structure to the impermeable wall at the time of earthquake; an impermeable layer that is constructed on a surface of the shielding plate; and a surface layer that is constructed on a surface of the impermeable layer.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
