PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organism-count model generation device, an organism-count model generation method, a cytometer, and a program, which are capable of counting the number of organism accurately and quickly.;SOLUTION: In order to provide an organism-count model generation device, an organism-count model generation method, a cytometer, and a program, which are capable of counting the number of organism accurately and quickly, a histogram representing frequency of detection intensity for each section thereof is generated on the basis of detection intensity data obtained by cytometry using a different fluorescent marker with a degree of interaction with an organism depending on life or death of the organism and different emission intensity corresponding thereto; a multivariable analysis is performed with a frequency value for each section of the histogram as an explanatory variable; and an organism-count model, being an expression for determining presence of organism or an organism count, by using each factor of the obtained explanatory variable.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
