BLOOD PRESSURE MEASURING DEVICE AND PARAMETER CALIBRATION METHOD FOR ESTIMATION OF CENTRAL BLOOD PRESSURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a new method for measuring central blood pressure.SOLUTION: In an ultrasonic sphygmomanometer 1, an input part 40 inputs changes in peripheral arterial blood pressure measured by a sphygmomanometer 2. A blood vessel diameter measuring part 120 uses an ultrasonic wave to measure changes in a blood vessel diameter of a central artery. A calibration part 130 uses results of the measurement by the sphygmomanometer 2 and the blood vessel diameter part 120 to calibrate a parameter relating to blood pressure estimation processing of estimating central blood pressure from the blood vessel diameter of the central artery, in a prescribed reasonable period when a relationship between the blood vessel diameter of the central artery and the peripheral arterial blood pressure is equivalent to a relationship between the blood vessel diameter of the central artery and the central blood pressure in one heartbeat period.
