PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analysis method for analyzing a difference between a precise solution and a uniform solution in a space to be calculated numerically.SOLUTION: The analysis method executed by a computer, comprises the steps of: calculating a difference between a precise solution and a uniform solution wherein these solutions are to obtain a third physical quantity in an entire space consisting of N division regions based on a mathematical model for calculating a third physical quantity in a desired space using a first physical quantity α and a second physical quantity &bgr; in the space; resolving the difference into terms each of which is a product of the difference between a first physical quantity in an i-th (1≤i≤N) region and a first physical quantity in a j-th (1≤j≤N) region and the difference between a second physical quantity in the i-th region and a second physical quantity in the j-th region; calculating for each region, an index value, which is the sum of terms including the first physical quantity and the second physical quantity in the i-th region selected from the terms included in the above difference resolution; and extracting a region the index value of which is the largest in the N regions.
