PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dialysis agent suppressing inconveniences of fluctuating the amount of components contained in granules while improving production efficiency; and a production method for the dialysis agent. PSOLUTION: The method for production of the dialysis agent for mixing granules 4 containing sodium chloride, potassium chloride, calcium chloride, magnesium chloride, and sodium acetate or sodium citrate as the components, includes: a mixing step for mixing the respective components at the weight ratio (m) of 0.5-6 (sodium acetate) or 2-14 (sodium citrate) which is set by the following formula: m=(Ma+Mb)/(Mc+Md+Me), wherein Ma is the weight of sodium chloride, Mb is the weight of potassium chloride, Mc is the weight of calcium chloride, Md is the weight of magnesium chloride, and Me is the weight of sodium acetate or sodium citrate (where the weights of the components are on anhydrous basis); and a granulation process for granulating the mixture into the granules; and sprays dry air with a dew point lower than an equilibrium dew point where the granules become an equilibrium state neither absorbing moisture nor being dried, to the granules.
