PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a step following roller dropout preventive device of a passenger conveyor capable of preventing the dropout of a bearing and a step following roller.;SOLUTION: The step following roller dropout preventive device of the passenger conveyor includes a step following roller shaft, an inner fixing nut fixed to the step following roller shaft, a step following roller mounted to an outer circumferential part of an outer end of the step following roller shaft via a bearing, and having a T-shaped space constituted of an inner small diameter space for accommodating the bearing and an outer large diameter space for accommodating the outer end of the step following roller shaft, an outer fixing nut fixed to the step following roller shaft, a bearing inner holding plate which is inserted in and fixed to the step following roller shaft from the outer side, and accommodated in the outer large diameter space of the step following roller to hold an inner part of the outer surface of the bearing, and a bearing outer holding plate which is inserted in and fixed to the step following roller shaft succeeding to the bearing inner holding plate from the outer side, and accommodated in the outer large diameter space of the step following roller to hold the outer part of the outer surface of the bearing when the bearing is broken.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
