PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position sensing device capable of protecting an output circuit thereof when abnormal voltage is applied to an output terminal.;SOLUTION: An output circuit 42 having a power source side transistor 46 and a ground side transistor 47 controls voltage of lines 50, 501 connecting a power source 48 and a ground 49 and outputs a voltage signal to an output terminal 31 through an output line 51. A voltage output circuit 59 detects voltage applied to the power source side transistor 46 on the basis of voltage across a first resistor 58 provided closer to the output terminal than the power source side transistor 46. A comparator circuit 60 outputs a signal that turns off a first switch 61 and a second switch 62 when the output voltage of the voltage output circuit 59 is higher than a reference voltage 63.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
