PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photosensitive composition for volume hologram recording, having excellent heat resistance and capable of improving a refractive index difference without containing metal, a photosensitive substrate for volume hologram recording which has excellent heat resistance and can be made thin, and a volume hologram recording material having excellent heat resistance and suitably applicable to be used for an optical element.;SOLUTION: The photosensitive composition for volume hologram recording comprises: an organic-inorganic hybrid polymer which has a main chain of an organic polymer and has a polysiloxane structure in at least either a side chain or a molecular end of the organic polymer and which contains a tri-functional siloxane unit by 10 mol% or more in the entire siloxane units; a photopolymerizable compound having a refractive index of 1.54 or more; and a photopolymerization initiator.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
