PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for conveying a glass plate package, capable of storing a large sized glass plate, and improving the storage efficiency of the glass plate under the condition that is restricted to the loading limit width of a transport vehicle.;SOLUTION: In a glass plate package, where E is the Young's modulus of the glass plate G, T is the thickness, a radius R of a roll 10 is calculated by equation (1) : RT*E/2σmax, and equation (2):0.15≤T≤0.7 mm so that the maximum value (σmax) of allowable tensile stress of the glass plate (G) in winding around the roll 10 becomes 50 MPa, and the glass plate G is continuously wound on the roll 10 of the radius R and stored. In the package, the glass plate is not required to be cut according the loading limit width, whereby the large sized glass plate can be stored despite to be restricted to the loading limit width of the transport vehicle.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
