PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass plate packing body capable of securing a favorable vibration-proof function so that a lower portion of a shock-absorbing body is formed into an adequate rigid structure, and high-frequency vibration clearly different from the natural vibration of an upper portion thereof is inputted into the lower portion.SOLUTION: A glass plate packing body 1 is formed by storing a glass plate laminate 6 composed by laminating a plurality of glass plates by being flatly arranged above a base 3 of a pallet 2 in which a glass plate reception part 4 having an area corresponding to the size of the glass plate is arranged in an upper part of the base 3; the glass plate laminate 6 is mounted in an upper part of the glass plate reception part 4 through a cushioning body 5; the base 3 is separated from the glass plate reception part 4; the horizontal movement of the glass plate reception part 4 with respect to the base 3 is regulated; and the glass plate reception part 4 is mounted to an upper surface of the base 3 in an isolated state allowing free vertical vibration.
