PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clathrate compound that effectively cures an epoxy resin by a heat treatment while permitting enhanced storage stability (one-pack liquid stability) by suppressing a curing reaction at a low temperature.;SOLUTION: The clathrate compound comprises an isophthalic acid compound represented by formula (I), at least one selected from among tetrakis-phenolic compounds represented by 1,1,2,2-tetrakis(4-hydroxyphenyl)ethane, and 1,5-diazabicyclo[4.3.0]nonene-5.
