PURPOSE: A system and a method for monitoring an unsaturated zone gas and index atmosphere on a real time basis by using an isotope analyzing device are provided to monitor isotopes of an unsaturated zone gas and index atmosphere by using the concentration of the unsaturated zone gas and index atmosphere carbon dioxide and an isotope analyzing device, thereby observing movements of a gas including the carbon dioxide on a real time basis through an economic method.;CONSTITUTION: A system and a method for monitoring an unsaturated zone gas and index atmosphere comprises an index atmosphere analyzing device(105), a communication device(170), and a monitoring server. The index atmosphere analyzing device comprises a fixed member, gas inlets, a gas transferring member, an analysis member, a channel, and a connection member. The gas inlets are fixed to the fixed member depending on height. The gas transferring member is connected to the gas inlet. The analysis member comprises an isotope analyzing device. The channel selects one or more transferring members, thereby applying the transferred gas by using the selected gas transferring member. The connection member connects the channel and analysis member. The communication device transmits components of an isotope being output from the isotope analyzing device. The monitoring server outputs the components of the isotope transmitted from the communication device.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
