PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stainless steel sheet for a structural member which has excellent strength and ductility, and a method for producing the same.;SOLUTION: The high strength and high ductility austenitic stainless steel sheet for a structural member has a composition comprising, by mass, 0.05 to 0.30% C, 0.01 to 0.30% N, 0.1 to 3.0% Si, 0.1 to 30.0% Mn, 0.1 to 5.0% Ni, 0.1 to 4.0% Cu, 10.0 to 19.0% Cr, ≤0.5% Mo, ≤0.3% Nb and 0.020 to 2.00% Al, and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities, wherein Md₃₀ and Ms satisfy prescribed inequality(c): 50≤Md₃₀ and prescribed inequality(d): 4.5Md₃₀-625≤Ms≤50, an austenitic phase is used as a host phase, and a martensitic phase is included by ≥1%.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
